1️⃣ Why should we pay a recruiter when we can just post the job ourselves?
It’s called post-and-pray for a reason! Posting advertises the role to candidates that happen to be looking at that moment, usually a small fraction of the candidate pool. It’s equivalent to running a single sales commercial on the radio/TV and expecting your ideal prospects to start placing orders. It’s a shot in the dark that occassionally works.


2️⃣ How do I know you’ll actually understand what I need?
Unlike generalist firms, we’ve solely focused on engineering and manufacturing roles with small-medium sized firms since 2014. We speak your language, know the difference between a Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineer, and understand how critical cultural fit is in small teams.


3️⃣ We’ve used recruiters before and it didn’t go well. Why will this be different?
There are a variety of reasons a search could go poorly. We’ve seen just about everything from recruiters submitting unscreened candidates who had the right keywords on their resume to clients taking a month to move from one step to the next with candidates.

From our end, we use a performance-driven process to ensure you only meet candidates who are aligned, qualified, and interested — no more guessing games. We also use a client methodology that helps close your role faster.

4️⃣ I’m worried you’ll just send me a bunch of “good on paper” candidates.
We pre-screen extensively for skill and real-world performance. Our candidates don’t just interview well, they deliver once they’re on the floor.


5️⃣ We don’t hire very often. Does it make sense to work with a recruiter?
Absolutely. Occasional hires are often the most critical — especially leadership or hard-to-fill roles. Hiring wrong costs more than hiring right the first time.


6️⃣ We’re a small company. Will your candidates even want to work here?
It depends on the candidate. We work exclusively with small manufacturers and thoroughly understand the benefits, and challenges in working in evolving environments. We focus on candidates who thrive in nuance and crave to have impact instead of checking boxes in a corporate setting.


7️⃣ How do you protect us from a bad hire?
We stand behind our process as every placement comes with a lengthy replacement guarantee. More importantly, we focus on fit up front to prevent it from ever getting there.


8️⃣ Can’t we just use referrals or word of mouth?
You can… and should. But when that well runs dry you need specialized talent fast. You also may need someone with experience from outside your group to help take your team to the next level. Either way, having us in your corner expands your reach.


9️⃣ What if I don’t have time to deal with recruiters right now?
That’s exactly why clients hire us. We handle the sourcing, outreach, vetting, and first-round screening. You get back hours of time and only meet candidates that will elevate your business.


🔟 How expensive is this, really?
Hiring wrong (or too slow) costs more than hiring right. Every opening you have affects the rest of your team’s ability to execute and their experience and workplace happiness. Ever meet someone who’s happy about their department being short-staffed? I havent, but I’ve met a lot of candidates willing to explore my open roles because they are. 1️⃣ What kinds of roles do you recruit for?
Mostly engineering and leadership roles in manufacturing. Think Process Engineers, Maintenance Managers, Ops Leaders, and other key people who keep manufacturers running.


2️⃣ Do you only work with certain industries?
Yes, by design. We focus on manufacturers from precision machining to complex machine development so we’re not throwing you into random roles outside your wheelhouse.


3️⃣ Will you actually help me find a job, or just collect my resume?
No black holes here. If we don’t have something right now, we’ll keep you in mind when the right one comes along. We don’t ghost people or spam resumes around.


4️⃣ How much does this cost me?
Nothing. Companies pay us to find the right people. You’ll never owe us a dime.


5️⃣ Do I need to be actively job hunting to work with you?
Not at all. Many of our best placements came from people who weren’t actively looking until the right opportunity showed up.


6️⃣ How do you decide which opportunities are a fit?
We start by actually listening. What you want, where you thrive, and what’s non-negotiable. Then we match you with roles based on fit, not just keywords.


7️⃣ Will you help me prep for interviews?
Absolutely! We’ll give you the inside scoop on the company and interviewers, help you prep, and make sure you walk in confident and informed.


8️⃣ What if I’m currently employed and want to keep things confidential?
No problem. We handle all outreach discreetly. Nothing gets shared with any company without your go-ahead, and we never jeopardize your current job to explore a new one.


9️⃣ What types of companies do you work with?
